The Queensland Supply Chain Conference (QSCC) at the Sofitel Hotel in Brisbane on 13 and 14 July proved another successful event. Over 200 people attended the two-day event, which is organised principally by the Queensland chapter of LAA. CIPSA are partners in the event along with APICS and QUT, the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) and the Local Government Supply Management Group.

CIPSA played a significant role in supporting arrangements for the event, with Queensland Regional Committee Vice Chairman Carl Jansen coordinating CIPSA support. The CIPSA exhibition stand was busy throughout the event, taking member enquiries and arranging and impromptu renewal service for a number of members whose subscription had recently expired.

CIPSA again sold a good number of procurement books at the QSC event.
